Honda star Matt Neal retained the British Touring Car Championship at Silverstone on Sunday - the first driver to win successive titles since Chris Hodgetts in1987.
Before the weekend, only Oxford's Jason Plato could have beaten Neal to the crown, but the SEAT No.1 blew his chance with a poor qualifying session on Saturday. Neal qualified third on the grid.
Sunday's race one went to Neal's team mate Gareth Howell, with MG's Colin Turkington second, and Tom Chilton - driving a Vauxhall for Greatworth-based VX Racing - in third.
Neal finished fourth with Plato trailing, giving Neal an unassailable lead in the championship.
Race two was red flagged after a four-car pile-up , but Neal won the restart from Gordon Sheddon (Honda), with VX Racing's Fabrizio Giovanardi third.
Race three saw Howell take the chequered flag for the second time in the day.
The manufacturers title went to SEAT.
