Marcus Gronholm took full advantage of Sebastien Loeb's absence at the Rally of Turkey to keep alive his hopes of clinching this season's championship.
Gronholm, the 38-year-old from Finland, eased to victory after Banbury's Subaru World Rally Team driver Petter Solberg crashed out late in the afternoon on the second day, cutting Loeb's lead at the top of the standings to 25 points.
Loeb was out of action with a broken arm and now has three meetings - in Australia, New Zealand and Wales - to hold on to his lead.
Gronholm's victory, along with team-mate Mikko Hirvonen finishing second, also meant Ford leapfrogged Citroen at the top of the manufacturers' standings.
"I'm very happy to win here in tricky conditions, and it's very good for Ford to be one-two in this rally," said Gronholm.
