The Bomber Command Memorial, under construction in The Green Park, London, will be dedicated and unveiled on June 28, 2012.
The Memorial will commemorate the 55,573 airmen of Bomber Command who gave their lives in World War Two.
Due to the very high demand for tickets, the Bomber Command Association wishes to announce a ‘final call’ for applications from relatives of the 55,573 who were killed serving in Bomber Command during World War Two, veterans of Bomber Command in World War Two and their next of kin for a further period until June 1, 2012.
We have started writing to the several thousand who have already applied for a ticket with an update this week.
We now only have seats available in our large screen salute area, which has no direct view of the memorial itself.
For those relatives of the 55,573, or a veteran of Bomber Command, still wishing to attend and who have not yet contacted us, application forms are available by calling 020 8358 6422 or contacting us at the following address.
