IT’S not often people imagine the Easter bunny arriving on two wheels.
But youngsters at Oxford Children’s Hospital must have thought exactly that when more than 100 bikers delivered eggs on Sunday as part of the annual delivery from H Cafe in Berinsfield.
Richard Allen, organiser and owner of H Cafe, said: “This has been the biggest Easter egg run we have ever done.
“Tappins gave us a bus so we could bring all 500 eggs to the hospital.
“I am definitely pleased with the turn out.”
When the bikers arrived they were greeted by some of the nurses and children and then visited the wards handing out the eggs.
Some youngsters even got to sit on some of their bikes.
One of the bikers Andy Bodgecraft, 50, from Cowley, pictured inset, said: “I found it very moving to hand over the Easter eggs to the children.
“I enjoyed the day.”
