A woman suffered burns to her face after a disposable lighter caused an explosion in a house in Ashby Road, Bicester.
The lighter had been left too close to a gas hob on Friday causing a small explosion and the fire brigade were called at 6.32pm.
An ambulance crew also attended the scene and the 34-year-old woman was taken to the Horton General Hospital in Banbury.
