Hollywood legend Stefanie Powers swept into the city at the weekend to attend the Oxford Literary Festival.
Star of dozens of films and the hugely successful US television series Hart to Hart during the 80s, the ever-glamorous Ms Powers delivered a talk at Christ Church entitled Film and Television: An Expression of American Culture.
Ms Powers, 69, said she “was delighted to be back in beautiful Oxford” and spent much of the weekend attending several events and functions, including the closing – and spectacular – festival dinner on Saturday night themed around Alice in Wonderland with special guest speaker, BBC’s Andrew Marr.
