People convicted of offences at Magistrates' Courts around the county recently OXFORD Alison Stabler, 20, of Lower Radley, Abingdon, admitted drink-driving in Weirs Lane, Oxford, on January 11. Had 72 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £150, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 16 months.
Jerry Stewart, 73, of St John’s Road, Grove, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis in Abingdon on January 12. Fined £750, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 18 months.
Adam Toulouse, 32, of Saunders Road, Oxford, admitted failing to attend a drugs test follow-up in Oxford on October 6 and failing to surrender to court bail on February 6. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £25 costs.
Matthew Head, 32, of Sefton Road, Oxford, convicted of criminally damaging a police cell in Abingdon and assaulting Pc O’Connor in Wantage on June 12. Told to pay £300 compensation and £450 costs, and given a three-month curfew.
Michael Hall, 32, of Bear Close, Woodstock, admitted stealing tools and a crockpot and bag valued at £700 in Stonesfield on December 1. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £500 compensation and £65 costs.
James Boulton, 30, of Wytham Street, Oxford, admitted shoplifting meat from Co-op in Kennington on June 3. Given a six-month conditional discharge.
Lisa Sherbourne, 44, of Meadside, Dorchester-on-Thames, admitted assaulting Pc Aaron Walker and an assault by beating in Kennington on January 29. Also admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis in Abingdon on January 30. Fined £650, a £15 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and £250 compensation. Given 10 penalty points.
Luke McDonagh, 21, of Gainsborough Road, Henley-on-Thames, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Abingdon on December 12. Fined £100, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Tina Rivers, 50, of Masons Road, Oxford, admitted shoplifting a £25 dress from Peacocks and false eyelashes valued at £5.48 from Boots in Oxford on October 28. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £30 costs.
Daisy Wood, 19, of Holland Place, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Sandford-on-Thames on October 7. Given a four-week curfew and told to pay £25 costs.
Ryan Hills, 22, of Hillsley Road, Portsmouth, admitted shoplifting two iPods valued at £438 from Toys r Us in Oxford on March 21, 2011. Fined £75, a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Also told to pay £300.04 compensation.
Ayodele Oyenuga, 50, of Lyndworth Close, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on September 6. Told to do 200 hours’ unpaid work with a year’s supervision and pay £50 costs.
Kay Robinson, 56, of Larkhill Place, Abingdon, admitted driving without due care and attention, failing to stop after an accident and failing to report an accident in Longmead, Abingdon, on October 30. Fined £400, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Given nine penalty points.
Matthew Kinnaird, 27, of Phelps Place, Oxford, admitted shoplifting two bottles of champagne valued at £30 from Sainsbury’s in Oxford on January 10 and shoplifting a bottle of champagne valued at £30 from Sainsbury’s on January 1. Given a 24-week prison term, suspended for a year, with 12 months’ supervision.
Norocel Pirvu, 34, of The Green, Cassington, admitted drink-driving in Woodstock Road, Oxford, on February 23. Had 48 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £100, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for a year.
Adam Sherry, 25, of Greys Close, Banbury, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Banbury on February 22. Fined £50 and a £15 victims’ surcharge, deemed paid by detention in the courthouse until the end of the day.
Scott Williams, 19, of no fixed address, admitted possessing cannabis and assaulting a Pc Webber in Wallingford on September 3. Told to attend an attendance centre for 33 hours and pay £25 costs and £25 compensation.
Rachel Carter, 39, of John Morris Road, Abingdon, admitted stealing £6,880 from Martin McColl in Abingdon between April 26 and October 11. Given a 12-week jail term, suspended for a year, with a year’s supervision and a 12-week curfew. Told to pay compensation of £6,073.
Paul Standen, 37, of Staunton Road, Oxford, admitted producing seven mature cannabis (Class B) plants in Oxford on September 15. Told to do 60 hours’ unpaid work and pay £85 costs.
Tom Loveridge, 21, of Horspath Road, Oxford, convicted of shoplifting a can of Stella Artois from Co-op in Oxford on October 20 and admitted shoplifting £15 of crisps and sweets from 99p Stores in Cowley on February 11, and admitted failing to surrender to court bail on February 13. Given 100 hours’ unpaid work and told to pay £100 costs.
Daniel Crossan, 25, of Wordsworth Road in Abingdon, admitted threatening behaviour in Abingdon on January 14. Fined £200, plus costs of £85 and victims’ surcharge of £15.
Andrew Patterson, 28, of Averly Walk in Reading, admitted criminal damage of a door window belonging to O’Hanlon House in Luther Street, central Oxford. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay £50 compensation to O’Hanlon House.
