OXFORD: A man was rescued from his flat in Rose Hill, Oxford, after a fire broke out on Wednesday.
The ground-floor flat in Ashurst Way had filled with smoke after cooking had been left unattended.
The man was found asleep in his flat by firefighters at about 10.30pm.
