A LITTLE bit of harmony shone through Blackbird Leys.
Pupils looked on as the World Harmony Run was passing through Oxford, making its first stop at Windale Primary School on Wednesday.
The World Harmony Run is a global torch relay run by athletes from around the world which aims to promote friendship and understanding.
Ellis Ryan, nine, said: “It was really good. They let us hold this big torch which they pass around for friendship.
“I think it is a good idea.”
While at the school the athletes gave an assembly explaining what they hoped to achieve from the run before heading off again.
It has passed through more than 100 nations around the world.
