I WOULD like to reply to Keith Mitchell’s letter (Oxford Mail, March 8).
His suggestion was that John Tanner takes a one-way ticket to Greece. The country’s tax evasion is a national game where others pay what they can’t afford.
Social welfare and borrowing is the cause, not the bankers who put greed before need.
On the works first September holidays I was in a public house in Helford, Cornwall.
The pub was full of boisterous yacht people, crying how they dodged tax payments with their excellent accountants’ help.
No wonder our economy is not giving required standards for social services.
The yacht people seem to thrive pursuing their good life, robbing the poor to feed the rich.
