MOTORISTS were injured in two separate incidents on Oxfordshire roads yesterday.
A car flipped onto its roof in Cowley Road, closing the road for more than an hour. The grey Hyundai Coupe hit two parked cars and overturned between Southfield Road and Divinity Road at around 2.30pm yesterday.
Fire crews were called to the incident but the female driver had already managed to get out. She was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with bruising.
Another driver, a 60-year-old male, was also taken to hospital with serious injuries after a separate crash on the A44.
Emergency crews were called to the incident at the junction with Langford Lane, near Oxford Airport in Kidlington, shortly before 12.30pm.
The accident involved a white Smart car and silver Subaru car.
The southbound carriageway remained shut until around 3pm while the male driver of the Subaru was freed from his vehicle by fire crews.
He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with chest pains. His condition last night remained unknown. Two others were treated for minor injuries at the scene.
