SPRING officially arrived in Oxfordshire at the weekend, as the sun shone and children enjoyed meeting new arrivals.
Families flocked to the Earth Trust’s Hill Farm at Little Wittenham, near Didcot, for its annual lambing weekend, run by farmers Roly and Camilla Puzey. Asking lots of questions about the sheep were Thomas Willoughby, eight, and his five-year-old sister Ella from Abingdon.
Their mum Mary said: “They absolutely loved it, we were there for about four hours in the end. They asked lots of questions and found out all about the sheep so they really enjoyed themselves.”
Thomas added: “It was fantastic.”
The Earth Trust will run another lambing event this weekend.
