THAMES Water has said it will not set up a special hotline to report people flouting the countywide hosepipe ban, which comes into force on Thursday next week.
Spokesman Natalie Slater said the company was not encouraging people to “snoop” but instead hoped everyone would pull together to help reduce water consumption.
Residents who have concerns about water use are asked to check information on the company’s website by clicking on the link below or call 0845 9200 888.
The maximum penalty for anyone caught flouting the hosepipe ban is £1,000.
