The World Pooh Sticks Championships get under way in Little Wittenham tomorrow.
The annual event attracts more than 1,500 people.
The 29-year-old tradition is based on the Winnie the Pooh books by AA Milne, in which Pooh and friends raced sticks along a river. It is organised by the Rotary Club of Oxford Spires.
Registration for the event at Days Lock opens at 11am and closes at 2.30pm.
Money raised goes to charity. For more information visit pooh-sticks.com
