NINE suspects arrested as part of an investigation into a suspected child sex ring in Oxford are still being questioned today.
Detectives have been granted a 12 hour extension to question the nine men who were arrested yesterday in a series of dawn raids in Oxford.
No charges have been made overnight.
The men are being interviewed over allegations of causing prostitution of girls under the age of 18, rape, administering drugs with intent to commit rape, sexual activity with a child and grooming involving girls aged between 11 and 16 from the Oxford area.
It is likely they will remain in police custody until at least this afternoon.
Last night at about 9.30pm four men, aged 23, 31, 34, and 37, were bailed to return to a police station on April 19.
