PUPILS from an Abingdon primary school got a close look at the animals during a visit to vets.
About 24 pupils from Carswell Primary School in Bostock Road visited Abingdon Animal Hospital on Monday and Tuesday, as part of the school’s business week, where each class visits a different business in the town.
Teacher Amanda Wilkinson organised the trips to the vets’ surgery in The Vineyard, which is run by Abivale Veterinary Group.
Senior nurse Michelle Peplow, from Didcot, said: “Fi Fi wasn’t feeling too well so her owner brought her in for some X-rays. The pupils really enjoyed their visit.”
