AS reported in the Oxford Mail, English hospitals will continue to charge patients to park in hospital car parks.
In contrast to the rest of the UK it would cost at least £100m a year to cease charging.
It is a drop in the ocean for hospitals, but a great burden for the patients.
There are several solutions to this.
One is for voters to vote out the present MPs in England – the snag here is that the three main parties agree that English patients should carry on being exploited regardless.
So the option would be to vote for someone who is not in the hands of vested interests as the three main parties are.
The second option is to insist that you go to hospital by transport provided by the hospital.
If enough people did that, the system would collapse and hospitals would be forced to cease charging in their car parks.
