Sir – We would like to thank the council workmen who made such a superb job of removing the leaves from the part of Cuckoo Lane which runs between Sandfield Road and Osler Road in Headington last week.
We complimented them at the time at the outset of their work but the end result deserves far more credit than a mere verbal thank you.
