PEOPLE are being urged to donate food to an animal sanctuary which will be delivered on Saturday by a convoy of motorbikes.
For the second year running Beerhounds Motorcycle Club is organising a charity food run in aid of Oxford Animal Sanctuary, based in Stadhampton.
Last year 27 bikes rolled out of Fluffy Paws pet supplies shop to deliver £300 of food to the animal centre and £80 cash.
This year, organiser Rob Douglas, owner of Fluffy Paws and vice president of the motorcycle club, hopes the group will be able to deliver even more supplies.
He is pictured with fellow club member Sandy Arnold and their rabbits Poppy, left, and George.
He said: “It’s close to our hearts and many of the other bikers. We have already had some donations in the shop. We need dog, cat, rabbit and guinea pig food.”
Sanctuary manager Ron Heath said: “They did a brilliant job last year so if it is anything like then it will be much appreciated.”
Anyone who can help should drop donations in or call 01869 253639.
