THE streets that the Olympic Flame will travel down in South Oxfordshire have been announced.
The torch will travel through Wallingford, Crowmarsh, Nettlebed and Henley on the morning of Tuesday, July 10.
The flame will begin its journey just after 8.20am at Castle Street in Wallingford.
It will then travel on to St Martin’s Street and High Street, before moving down The Street into Crowmarsh Gifford.
The torch will leave Crowmarsh just before 8.50am when it will be transported along the A4130 by bus to Nettlebed where it will be carried through the village by Torchbearer.
It will then travel by bus on to Henley-on-Thames, where it will begin its journey through the town from Northfield End just after 9am, and will then be carried by Torchbearer down to The River and Rowing Museum, on Mill Meadows, from where it will be transported by rowing boat along the Thames to Wargrave Lane.
At Wargrave Lane the Torch will be transferred back onto the bus and is scheduled to leave the district just before 10am.
