The 2012 Olympic flame arrives in Oxfordshire from Buckinghamshire on July 9.
It will be in Bicester first where runners will carry the torch will through London Road, Market Square, Sheep Street, St John’s Street, Queen’s Avenue, King’s End and Middleton Stoney Road. From there it will head to Kirtlington and Heyford Road and Oxford Road.
Later the torch will arrive in Woodstock via Oxford Road and will pass through the High Street on its way to Blenheim Palace. Then the torch goes to Oxford Road in Kidlington before arriving in the city.
On July 10, torchbearers set off from Iffley running track passing through Abingdon and Wallingford then out of the county to Reading – no street-by-street details were available for these towns as the Oxford Mail went to press.
