PRIME Minister David Cameron took a break from the dog-eat-dog world of politics yesterday – only to meet his namesake at a hearing dogs charity.
The Witney MP marked his return from the USA and discussions of global politics with President Barack Obama with a visit to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. He ended up cuddling its latest recruit, Cameron, a 10-week-old black Labrador, at Heythrop Park in Enstone.
The charity, which is celebrating its 30th birthday, trains guide dogs to alert deaf people to important sounds or danger signals.
