WOMEN from a Wallingford florists who posed for a naked calendar shoot raised thousands of pounds for a hospice charity.
Staff from Keri Harvey Florist in Station Road and their friends bared nearly all last year for the Sue Ryder Hospice in Nettlebed.
Following the photoshoot, 250 calendars were printed and sold for £10 each and the total amount raised for the hospice was £2,505.92.
Those who helped to raise funds attended an awards ceremony at the hospice last month.
Mum-of-one Alison Poffley, 35, from Didcot, who appeared in the April picture, said: “We are still selling calendars and any more money raised will go towards our next fundraising effort for the hospice.
“We attended an awards ceremony at Sue Ryder Hospice, in which we won two awards. “One was an Innovation Award and the other was an Ambassador Award. There is talk of a 2013 calendar and also a sponsored skydive, as we are keen to support Sue Ryder again this year.”
