CHOIRBOYS at Abingdon Prep School are preparing to take to the stage in Germany.
The 26 members of the senior choir, aged between 10 and 13, are going on a three-day tour next month.
They will sing at Mass in Cologne Cathedral and perform at a concert in Koblenz further down the Rhine.
The tour comes after the youngsters took part in the Young Voices concert at the O2 arena in London on March 5.
The show involved 8,000 children performing to an audience of 30,000.
Luca Balman, 10, from Wantage, said: “Being able to go to Germany is an amazing opportunity to visit another country.”
Tara Copus, director of music at Abingdon Prep, said: “The boys get an enormous amount from singing in the choir.
“They will have rehearsed for six months, so it gives them a great sense of achievement.
“They get a real buzz from performing – especially at the O2, which had an amazing atmosphere with so many children taking part."”
