Oxford University scientists are going back to school this week.
They are touring the county’s schools as part of the Oxfordshire Science Festival.
Yesterday, pupils at Woodstock’s Marlborough School had a science lesson like no other when cancer expert Dr Martin Christlieb, centre, from the university’s department of oncology, came to visit. India Seager, 13, pictured left with Samuel Rozee, 14, right, said: “I found it very interesting. I learnt all about cells which protect themselves and remake themselves to protect the body.”
The festival runs until Sunday. For details, visit oxfordshiresciencefestival.co.uk
