DENCHWORTH: Firefighters spent much of yesterday damping down a huge fire that destroyed a historic thatched barn in south Oxfordshire.
The fire service was called to Brook Lane Barns, in Denchworth, on Sunday at 3am.
Fire investigators were at the site again yesterday but the cause of the blaze has still not been established.
The inferno destroyed the 100-metre long building, which is thought to be one of the longest thatched barns in the country.
