A VOLUNTEER at Didcot Railway Centre is recovering in hospital after being crushed by a piece of equipment which fell on him last Wednesday.
The man, 69, was airlifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford after suffering shoulder and chest injuries. He is still in hospital.
Office of Rail Regulation spokesman Brian Clarke confirmed last night that staff were investigating the incident.
