THE repatriation of six servicemen killed in Afghanistan will take place this Thursday.
Sergeant Nigel Coupe, from 1st Battalion The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment, and Corporal Jake Hartley, Private Anthony Frampton, Private Christopher Kershaw, Private Daniel Wade and Private Daniel Wilford, all from 3rd Battalion The Yorkshire Regiment, were killed by a homemade bomb on the border of Helmand province on Tuesday, March 6.
The Ministry of Defence said the plane carrying their bodies will land at RAF Brize Norton at about 1.30pm.
The cortege is expected to pass the memorial garden near Carterton between 4pm and 4.30pm and arrive at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford an hour later.
