Daniel Jones, 23, of Orchard Road, Ardley, admitted drink-driving in Banbury Road, Bicester, on January 28. Had 80 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £150, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 20 months.
Casey Scott, 23, of Winterbourne Close, Bicester, admitted shoplifting various items valued at £45.93 from Sainsbury’s in Thame on November 24. Given an 18-month conditional discharge and told to pay £45 costs and £45.93 compensation.
Thomas Evans, 19, of Meadow Way, Yarnton, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Yarnton on January 29. Fined £50, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £80 costs.
Christopher Towner, 45, of Miller Road, Banbury, convicted of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Banbury on August 11 and admitted committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Fined £100, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £400 costs.
Yvonne Brightmore, 53, of Peacocks Close, Middleton Cheney, admitted drink-driving in Ruscote Avenue, Banbury, on February 1. Had 42 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £200, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for a year.
Kirstie Halligan, 23, of Britannia Road, Banbury, admitted shoplifting four DVDs from Homebase in Banbury on November 28. Fined £60, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Thomas Mitchell, 18, of Reedmace Road, Bicester, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Sheep Street, Bicester, on New Year’s Day. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.
Ionut-Victoras Sclipcea, 21, of Harnall Lane East, Coventry, admitted shoplifting 53 memory cards valued at £657.91 from Tesco in Banbury on February 14. Jailed for 28 days because “there was planning involved, it was professional shoplifting in order to sell goods stolen, and there was targeting of high-value goods”.
Lee Simpson, 24, of Lidsey Road, Banbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly in High Street, Banbury, on February 5. Fined £60, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Iqraam Mahmood, 19, of South Street, Banbury, admitted assault causing actual bodily harm in Banbury on May 16. Given 120 hours’ unpaid work and a two-year restraining order with £250 compensation and £85 costs.
Barry Crowthers, 25, of Withycombe Drive, Banbury, convicted of stealing a hot water tank/boiler valued at £54 in Banbury on October 16. Given a 12-week curfew and told to pay £50 costs.
Nathan Wilkins, 21, of Chetwode, Banbury, convicted of stealing a hot water tank/boiler valued at £54 in Banbury on October 16. Also admitted criminally damaging a police cell in Banbury on October 16 and commission of a further offence while subject to a suspended prison sentence. Jailed for eight weeks.
