Evacuated: Staff wait outside Kraft Foods
POLICE evacuated businesses in Banbury today after fire broke out at Kraft Foods in Ruscote Avenue.
Thames Valley Police said they were alerted to the incident by the fire service at 11.13am.
A police spokesman said: "The road has been closed up to the A423 as a safety precaution because the building contains oxygen and acetylene cylinders.
"A 200-metre cordon has been placed around the base of the fire and nearby businesses have been evacuated. Motorists are advised to avoid the area."
