A SATELLITE TV repairman twice raped a woman he had met through his job, a court has heard.
The trial of Waad Namek, who denies two charges of rape, began at Oxford Crown Court yesterday.
The father-of-three is accused of forcing himself on a 38-year-old woman within hours of her arrival at his flat in Owens Way, Cowley, in October.
Giving evidence through an interpreter, the Romanian woman said she became upset and homesick when a Romanian song came on the television and Namek tried to put his arm around her and kiss her.
She said she repeatedly pushed him away but he overpowered her and pushed her on to her back and undressed her before having sex.
She said a similar episode took place at 7am the following day.
Prosecutor Serena Gates said 36-year-old Namek originally told police no sex had taken place even though DNA evidence had linked him to the act.
He later admitted having sex with the woman.
Under cross-examination from defence barrister Mary Prior, the woman admitted not saying anything during either sexual encounter and not raising the alarm until 10.25am on the second day.
