OXFORDSHIRE'S major hospitals hit a key accident and emergency standard in January, new figures show.
Some 95.6 per cent of patients at Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital and The Horton Hospital in Banbury waited under four hours after arrival to be admitted, transferred or discharged.
Hospitals are expected to meet the 95 per cent Department of Health standard, which was 98 per cent under the Labour Government.
