Greater leys u14 3 Childrey youth u14 1 Under 14 Semi Final saw the Kites come out of the blocks flying on a very soggy pitch, and got an early reward from Corny Bobb, and Childrey were unlucky when Corny was then through on goal again and was brought down, Captain Benji Anderson who assisted in the first goal slotted the spot kick away to make it 2-0 at half time.
The 2nd half started brightly and both teams were even for the most part, and Corny who had been a danger all day put Benji through 1 on 1 with the keeper, and Benji tucked the chance away to make it 3-0 Childrey got a late penalty which Stuart McHat slotted home, and this fantastic match ended 3-1 to the Kites of Greater Leys, who now go on to the FINAL to play the winner between Whitchurch and Newbury in the other Semi Final.
