A SMALL Abingdon brewery has celebrated selling its 250,000 pint.
The Loose Cannon brewery opened in Suffolk Way in August 2010.
The microbrewery, which produces four beers, is also opening its doors to beer lovers as it starts to offer guided tours.
Owner Will Laithwaite, 29, pictured, said: “We get a lot of people come into the shop who are always keen to have a look around the brewery.
“People seem really interested to see how their local beer is made.
“It has gone really well. We have been growing steadily in the trade and getting into a lot of pubs.”
Local Campaign for Real Ale member Johanne Green said: “He makes very good beer.
“We are very happy that he set up in Abingdon, in view of the brewing history in the town.”
The tours will take place every month – for details call 01235 531141 or visit lcbeers.co.uk.
The town’s Morland brewery was shut in 2000 after more than 100 years in the town.
