THE 2007 model year Range Rover will start from £53,995 and is available from Land Rover dealerships throughout the UK.

Following its world debut at the Madrid Motor Show in May this year, the latest Range Rover receives a powerful all-new TDV8 diesel engine to replace the outgoing 3.0-litre TD6. The 2007 model will also receive Terrain Response, electronic rear e' differentials and a revised interior that includes a fresh new facia, cooled front seats, improved air conditioning and extra stowage. Prices start from £53,995 for the entry-level 3.6-litre TDV8 HSE and rising to £74,795 for the V8 Supercharged Vogue SE.

Hyundai off-roaders the Tucson and Terracan now get Limited special editions added to the ranges, each coming with masses of extra kit for a highly competitive price. The Tucson Limited diesel model is priced at £18,370, with the Terracan Limited costing from £19,995.

And the new Honda CR-V off-roader - one of the strongest rivals to the forthcoming new Land Rover Freelander - goes on sale in the UK next January, and the firm promises improved equipment, the latest advanced safety technology, and a highly competitive pricing structure. More details will be released nearer the launch.
