Triple BDO world champion Martin ‘Wolfie’ Adams stands in Oxfordshire’s way as they take on Cambridgeshire in the Premier Division this weekend.
The 55-year-old, who won the Lakeside title in 2007, 2010 and 2011, is the latest big name to face the county’s top players, who lost 19-17 to a Cheshire team including Tony O’Shea earlier this month.
Despite Adams, Oxfordshire will fancy their chances of beating a Cambridgeshire side sitting bottom of the table.
The men’s A will be at full strength as Dennis Smith, Chris Aubrey, Kirk Shepherd and Ian Moss return after missing the trip to Northwich due to PDC UK Open qualifying commitments.
Karen Williams will feature for the ladies A team, while Babs Manning is back for the ladies B.
The games will be played at Riley’s Snooker Pool and Darts Club, Between Towns Road, Cowley, starting at 12 noon on Saturday and 11am on Sunday.
