The rough sleeper found dead in an Oxford wood on Tuesday was a Polish man who died of alcohol related natural causes, police have revealed.
Woods near Jackdaw Lane, off Iffley Road, were cordoned off yesterday and late on Tuesday as police looked for evidence related to the death of the man, who was believed to be in his 40s.
Det Insp Simon Morton said: "The cause of death was alcohol related natural causes.
"We are now trying to contact his next of kin in Poland before we can identify the body."
