A 47-YEAR-OLD man, who died after fire swept through his Woodcote bungalow, has been named as Hugh Morton.

His 77-year-old father escaped the blaze in Behoes Lane after being woken by the fire at 2am on Saturday.

Thirty-seven firefighters from Goring, Wallingford, Didcot, Eynsham, Henley, Reading and Pangbourne fire stations attended the scene.
