POLICE officers in Banbury have recovered a large number of power tools and general building equipment that they believe was stolen from garage and shed break-ins in the Banbury area.
PC Adam Taylor, from the Neighbourhood team for Ruscote, Hardwick and Neithrop, said: "I would ask residents around the Bretch Hill around to Highlands area to check their outbuildings to make sure they haven't been broken into.
"We have recovered power tools, hi-fi equipment and general building equipment. We have also recovered car parts such as stereos and sets of vehicle mats. I would ask anyone who has had items stolen from outbuildings in the last month who hasn't reported it to contact me. I maybe able to reunite them with their property.
"Anyone who comes forward would have to be able to identify the property positively for example, provide the serial numbers or describe any distinctive marks. The public can contact me via 0845 8 505 505 or via the neighbourhood email address at rhn@thamesvalley.pnn.police.uk
