TWO police officers were injured after their panda car was rammed off the road in West Oxfordshire early on Sunday.
The two officers were finishing their shift and driving along Monahan Way, Carterton, at 50mph when a small white car approached them from the opposite direction.
The on-coming car then deliberately crossed on to the opposing carriageway and crashed into the rear of the panda before driving away.
The officers suffered minor injuries but were in work for their duty later that day at 4pm - the police car had to be recovered from the scene of the crash.
Police believe the car was possibly a Vauxhall Nova or a a Renault Clio and officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or who knows of a small white vehicle with damage are urged to contact police via 08458 505 505, or the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
