OXFORD: Tony Attwood, 30, of Phipps Road, Oxford, admitted burglary of £30 cash from De Wani Shah’s Indian Restaurant and burglary of £5 from Auto Parts in Thame on January 4. Also admitted driving without a licence and without insurance in Park Rise, Ambrosden, on January 4, and commission of further offences during the period of a suspended sentence. A total of 10 other offences were also taken into consideration. Given six penalty points and jailed for 24 weeks.

Stuart Beck, 27, of Hamble Road, Didcot, admitted driving without insurance and drink driving on the A4074 at Shillingford on October 16. Namely having 113 milligrams of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80 milligrams. Fined £100, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £165 costs. Banned from driving for a year.

Luis Cavaco, 34, of Cricket Road, Oxford, admitted drink driving on the A4142 Eastern Bypass on December 5. Namely having 54 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £220, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for a year.

Darren Gee, 39, of Berry Croft, Abingdon, admitted shoplifting food valued at £12.66 from Waitrose in Abingdon on January 1 and breach of a conditional discharge by further offending. Also admitted being drunk and disorderly in Abingdon on November 6 and failing to surrender to court bail on November 28. Original offences of shoplifting resentenced. Given a 28-day curfew and to pay £85 costs.

Mohammed Hamid, 20, of Ridgefield Road, Oxford, admitted drink driving in Gillians Way, Oxford, on December 4. Namely having 78 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £100, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 18 months.

Darren Perks, 38, of no fixed address, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on September 7 and November 13. Told to do 60 hours of unpaid work and pay £150 compensation and £85 costs.

Jackie Phillips, 46, of Verbena Way, Oxford, admitted using a public electronics communication network for the purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety between December 6 and January 5. Also admitted being drunk and disorderly in Tern Walk, Oxford, on January 5. Fined £140 and a £15 victims’ surcharge, deemed paid by detention in the courthouse until the end of the day.

Conor Rowland, 20, of Humfrey Road, Oxford, admitted possessing cocaine (Class A) in Oxford on October 9. Fined £100, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Jason Connerty, 26, of Whitehorns Way, Drayton, admitted assault causing actual bodily harm in Abingdon on May 25, and causing criminal damage to three bicycle tyres and having a knife in public in Abingdon on August 17. Told to participate in a domestic-violence programme for 36 days and told to pay £150 costs and £200 compensation. Also given a 12-month restraining order on the victim.

Graham Collier, 49, of Paradise Street, Oxford, admitted shoplifting a bottle of “A STAR” shampoo valued at £19 from Debenhams in Oxford on December 2. Fined £50 and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Lorenzon Williams, 24, of Saunders Road, Oxford, admitted criminally damaging a vending machine in Oxford on July 4. Given a 12-month conditional discharged and told to pay £300 compensation to Oxford and Cherwell Valley College.

BANBURY: Liam Austin, 19, of Burwell Drive, Witney, admitted assault by beating in Witney on December 22. Told to do 40 hours’ unpaid work and a year’s supervision. Told to pay £85 costs.

Timothy Carter, 41, of Broome Way, Banbury, admitted drink driving in Hennef Way, Banbury, on Christmas Eve. Namely having 73 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £380, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 18 months.

Jordan Schofield, 21, of Poultney Place, Carterton, admitted criminally damaging a Ford Fiesta to the value of approximately £700 in Carterton on March 13. Fined £350, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Also told to pay £768 compensation.

Stuart Silman, 20, of Sinclair Avenue, Banbury, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a fear of immediate unlawful violence in Banbury on December 23. Fined £270, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Sean Williams, 31, of McKeevor Place, Banbury, admitted assault by beating and causing criminal damage to a wooden fence on November 28 in Banbury. Also admitted breaching a conditional discharge by commission of a further offence. Original offences of criminal damage and assault by beating resentenced. Given a three-month prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, because “assault aggravated by alcohol, abuse of trust, child present, domestic violence, failure to comply with current court order and previous history”. Also told to participate in a domestic-violence programme for 35 days and told to pay £85 costs and £30 compensation.
