Becket Street, Oxford
FLASH flooding hit the county today with Oxford and Witney among the areas worst hit.
Becket Street in Oxford flooded while the B4022 through Witney was submerged under ten inches of water in just five minutes. The storm also caused drain covers to pop open, creating mini geysers in the road.
The Met Office issued a severe weather warning, which was later removed.
