MOTORISTS were pulled over by police officers carrying out spot checks in an operation at Oxford's Seacourt park-and-ride.
The crackdown on dangerous drivers focused on commuters using the busy site off Botley Road, and saw more than two dozen fined for breaking the law by chatting on their mobile phones and not wearing their seatbelts.
The road safety check, carried out between 8.15am and 10am on Wednesday, resulted in police officers issuing 20 fixed penalty notices to drivers not wearing a seatbelt and to six others for using their mobile phones while driving.
