People convicted of offences at Magistrates' Courts around the county recently OXFORD Terence Chaulk, 54, of Watermill Way, Oxford, admitted stealing a Rolex watch valued at £2,940 at the John Radcliffe Hospital between September 2009 and September 2010. Given a four-month curfew and told to pay £200 compensation and £85 costs.

Marie-Elise Newent, 52, of Churn Estate, Blewbury, admitted drink-driving in The Broadway, Didcot, on November 19. Namely having 81 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 microgrammes. Fined £25 and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Banned from driving for a year.

Daniel Norris, 23, of Jackman Close, Abingdon, admitted drink-driving in Vineyard, Abingdon, on November 19. Namely having 104 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 microgrammes. Given a two-month curfew and told to pay £40 costs. Banned from driving for three years.

Leigh Bower, 39, of Andromeda Close, Oxford, admitted failing to surrender to court bail on August 23. Fined £25 and a £15 victims’ surcharge.
