Police have interviewed 30 witnesses following the shooting of an Oxford man on Saturday - but are appealing for more to come forward.
Niall Sterry, 40, of Illsley Road, Barton, suffered serious leg injuries when he was shot after violent clashes outside his home.
Police are hunting a group of five or six hooded men thought to be involved.
Det Insp Simon Morton, who is leading the investigation, said: "We have now spoken to about 30 people and are planning to take official statements from them."
He said extra police patrols were continuing in the Barton area and added: "We are still appealing for more witnesses."
Anyone with information can call Mr Morton on 08458 505505 or the anonymous Crimestoppers hotline on 0800 555111.
