POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a crash last night in which a 20-year-old motorcyclist died.

The crash, which happened on the A4130 between the A34 and Didcot at about 11.20pm, involved a blue Honda Civic and a motorcycle. The motorcyclist died at the scene.

The road was closed until 6.12am while emergency services worked on the scene, collision investigators carried out their investigation, and the vehicles were recovered.

PC Edward Turner said: "There was a lorry travelling in the same direction as the car at the time of the crash. We would like to trace the driver of the lorry as he could be a key witness. If you were the driver then please contact me.

"I would also appeal for any other witnesses to come forward to help us investigate the collision."
