Sir, Will you please expose the chaos in Witney Sorting Office. The Post Office is claiming that all the backlog after the recent strike has been cleared. An inside source tells me that there are still 20,000 items waiting to be dealt with.

We are receiving first class post that has taken one week to arrive; some post is still awaited after one month; and some days there is no delivery at all.

As an academic organisation which depends on rapid turn-round of its students' work by correspondence, we are seriously considering taking out a claim in Oxford County Court against the Post Office for not delivering the service it advertises - and for which it is statutorily responsible, Will anyone join us?
