Two Own Your Own' business and warehouse schemes are attracting much interest in south Oxfordshire. The properties are at Hithercroft Road, Wallingford, and at Howland Road, Thame.
The take-up underlines the increasing popularity of owning your own small business or warehouse property.
Both schemes are made up of a variety of units designed to accommodate different sizes and internal configurations from 1,200 sq ft up to 6,020 sq ft. Some units have first-floor offices while others have been left as a shell.
The units are available for sale, although lettings may also be agreed.
The scheme in Wallingford totals 44 875 sq ft and is on land next to the headquarters of Fugro Engineering, completed about 12 months ago. The company provides complete geotechnical and geo-environmental site investigation services, .
The joint agents - VSL, Aitchison Rafferty, and Haslams - report that five units have been sold before completion and a further 1,200 sq ft unit has also been reserved.
The units in Thame vary in size from 1 438 to 6 028 sq ft. One unit has been sold with a further three units currently under offer.
Tom Barton of VSL said there had been strong interest in the scheme as the opportunity to purchase freehold units is still rare in the Oxfordshire market partly due to low levels of land supply.
