COUSINS Siena-Maria Williams, right, and Lily Chaplin, left, were all smiles as they enjoyed Banbury’s Michaelmas Fair.
They joined revellers who were thrilled by rides stretching down Market Place yesterday afternoon.
Three-year-old Lily’s mum Layla Williams, 29, said: “I love the fair. I have lived in Banbury all my life and it is part of the build-up to Christmas. The girls are really excited.”
Sister Nicole Williams, 24, mum to Siena-Maria, four, said: “This is their second year. They are always together.”
Cherwell District Council chairman Timothy Hallchurch was handed a golden key to open the fair by Mayor of Banbury Alastair Milne Home on Wednesday afternoon.
Mr Hallchurch then toured the fair and touched rides with the key, giving children a free turn. The centuries old fair runs until late tonight.
