The organisers and helpers of the Alzheimer’s Society street collection, held on September 24 in Wallingford wish to thank all their supporters for their help.
The town centre felt good and those that passed were very generous.
The money donated amount to £338.62 and will be used to help those suffering from Alzheimer’s in the central west area, for research, day-to-day care, help and assistance.
We are in need of people to join us on the fundraising and awareness committee.
Jean Clapson has done excellent work for us, organising the collectors for all our collection days.
She feels that it is time for a rest. Is there anyone out there who would be willing to do this work for us?
Thank you for your co-operation, so willingly given to the Oxfordshire branch of the Alzheimer’s Society.
CYNTHIA MANCEY, (Fundraising volunteer) Alzheimer’s Society, Oxfordshire Branch
